Are earrings for men the same as they are for women? Well, that depends upon just how picky you are. While there isn’t a lot of difference, some men just can’t walk into a woman’s jewelry store.
Thankfully, there are plenty of websites out there that cater just to men. This means that those mean sporting earrings for men won’t have to walk into a woman’s jewelry store in order to spice up their look. However, as with those that are made for women, there are lots of styles out there to choose from. Then again, some of those styles may not be such a good idea...
If you are under the impression that an earring will make you look a lot tougher than you are, you may be right. Do women like a man that wears an earring? Well, that one you’ll have to decide for yourself. What you can be sure of is that no type of dangling earring is attractive in any way. Even though your ears may be pierced, it isn’t advisable that you walk around with large dangling earrings on. Why? Not only will it like sort of strange, it is also entirely effeminate. If you want to purchase something that is classic and still refined, why not opt for a simple stud? You can find lots of small and large diamonds, black stones, and simple metal pieces to choose from. No matter what you choose, make sure that your selection is hypo-allergenic and nickel free...just in case you are allergic to the metal that they are made from. Once you have sorted out any possible allergen issues, you can wear any type of earrings for men that you find. If you are going to order on the internet, just make sure that you have some type of guarantee (you never know if they are going to break when you get them).
For the most part, it is best to keep those smaller studs rather simple. Stick with a cross, skull, diamond, or metal piece. Skip those hearts, starts, dangling ones, and anything else that might be found in a woman’s dressing room. Of course, if you want to make a large fashion statement, go ahead and wear any pair that you like.
As you can see, earrings for men are perfectly fine if you are a bit selective. Otherwise, you may wind up crossing that line.
